Ruben Ramos is an accomplished guitarist who's career has spanned more than 30 years. He has played worldwide alongside his home base in the Los Angeles area. Ruben has worked with The Ten Tenors from Australia, Jim Stubblefield of the group Incendio (Flamenco), Rock legend Eddie Money, Mike Gurley of the band Dada, actor/singer David Hasslehoff, Patty Andrews of the Andrew Sisters. Ruben has performed at venues including The San Diego Civic center, Historic Dayton Ohio Victoria Theater, The Hollywood Bowl, The Wiltern, the Alex Theater Glendale, and the Fillmore in San Fransisco.
Ruben has appeared on numerous albums such as Jim Stubblefield’s Grammy Nominated album Guitar Exotica, Sudbury and Ramos’s Connexion Eclectique that streams regularly on Pandora and used on several web ads for Mercedes Benz.
Ruben’s own original music evokes romance, passion, retrospection, and energy. Think of the music as a vehicle that transports you to places around the globe. A journey of sound that when you close your eyes, brings you to many places in the old world. His next CD titled “Latin Guitar Diaries” is the next journey with mixtures of places such as Spain, Mexico, America, and Brazil.
